Our Program Theme at the 2002, 30th year reunion was - A WALK THROUGH TIME -
Now and Then
Think back thirty years ago, to 1972. Our Student Council Reps were Theobalt,
Skelley, Cullins & McAdams too!
Prayers and The Pledge of Allegiance were “OK” to say, And we didn’t have to
worry about guns at school, as they do today.
Guys were groomed with Afros and the longer hair. Girls selected mini-skirts,
hot pants, and boots to wear.
We looked forward to events and could not wait, To watch our sportsmen, who
were really great.
Cheerleaders and T-Steppers yelled “Come on let’s hear it!” As did the pep
squad and the band.....Troy had the SPIRIT!
It was the Trojans at Rix Stadium, since 1929. And Tommies and Burger Chef was
our place to dine.
The actors in Camelot made the play so worthwhile, And the theme of prom, was
“The Land of the Nile.”
It’s been a long time, and we simply can’t wait, To have a reunion that’s
really GREAT!!
